On April 14, 2010, Forbes.com published their 12th annual ranking of the “Best Places for Business and Careers.” In 2009, the recession hit almost every city in the United States. Real Estate prices and household incomes were down in 182 of the 200 largest metro areas. And even tougher was the employment status. Of the 200 largest cities, only 4 experienced positive job growth and the remaining 196 cities lost 3.5 million jobs combined.
So, what does Forbes.com suggest that you do? Move to Middle America. Lucky for us, four Colorado cities were included in the list of areas with the most economic opportunity.
