Money magazine and CNN have named Boulder County Number 7 on a list of the "Top 10 Places for Jobs."
According to the magazine and online news channel, Boulder County has an unemployment rate of 5.3 percent and has plenty of job opportunities.
"While many people come for the University of Colorado, graduates stay because of the plentiful job opportunities," the magazine wrote. "Tech firms including IBM, Sun Microsystems and Ball Aerospace are some of Boulder's top employers. IBM recently announced that it's adding another 500 jobs, mostly at the call center at its Boulder facility."
According to Money magazine, this small section of beautiful Colorado is a wonderful place to reside for many reasons. In July of 2009, Louisville, Colorado was named the Number 1 for "Best home deals in the Best Places". In August of 2009, Louisville Colorado was awarded the the Number 1 "Best Place to Live". Boulder County was ranked at Number 13 as "The Best Places to Live."
