Last month Amgen announced that they will be moving part of its corporate administrative functions to the Longmont campus, which will add hundreds of high paying jobs in Boulder County.
Amgen is a Thousand Oaks, California based biotechnology and drug company that has been present in the area since it was founded in the 1980s.
There are four drugs that Amgen produces at the Boulder County campus, including medicines for rheumatoid arthritis and anemia associated with chronic kidney failure.
