The Evergreen Jazz Festival, "the best jazz festival anywhere,"
according to Mississippi Rag columnist Bob Lynn. Once you've
experienced the festival's world-class talent, intimate venues and
Rocky Mountain setting, it's easy to believe that Bob is right. So if
you're a fan of traditional or mainstream jazz, you'll want to check
out Colorado's jazz world gem, the Evergreen Jazz Festival, July 27, 28
& 29, 2007.
The 2007 lineup includes James Dapogny's Chicago Jazz Band, Andy
Stein's Blue Four, the Rain Dogs, Independence Hall Jazz Band, Hot
Tomatoes Dance Orchestra, the Don Stiernberg Quartet, Centerpiece Jazz
with Joni Janak and special guest Rich Chiaraluce, Celebration Jazz
Band, and Colorado favorite Queen City Jazz Band (joined by vocal great
Wende Harston for the Sunday gospel service).
