Autumn Hill Equestrian Farm

Multi-Use Building

Spectacular Flatiron Views

Property Description

From the spectacular mountain backdrop to the expansive plains that extend to the horizon, the magic of Autumn Hill International Equestrian Center seduces the senses and thrills the spirit, a power that is hard to ignore and even harder to leave.

An irreplaceable icon of Boulder County, Autumn Hill stands as one of America’s premier riding schools of Dressage. Beyond any equestrian facility of its kind, Autumn Hill has pushed the limits of the expected and created an unforgettable paradise that takes the effort out of enjoying an equestrian facility. Embracing both land and life, Autumn Hill has embraced environmental enhancements, sustainability and most importantly, the love of dressage riding.

Located just 6 miles from downtown Boulder and a scenic 30-minute drive from Estes Park, Autumn Hill lies on an unparalleled canvas richly colored by nature’s diverse palette. Set at the foot of the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the ranch is blanketed by 95 luxuriant acres of rolling meadows and pastures. Interspersed amongst the foliage and fields lie three ponds and a ¾ acre biodynamic garden.

This spectacular farm has been fully outfitted with state-of-the-art appointments for the avid and passionate equestrian. With years of stewardship, the owners have overlooked no detail in the construction of the riding areas, and all of the ranch elements are setup to continue the school’s legacy. The property comes fully equipped with a barn, heated tack room and bath, wash stall, indoor riding arena, outdoor ring, large grass flat jumping field, expansive double fenced pastures and sand turnout paddocks. In addition to the two residences that are currently built, there exists a development right for the construction of a principle residence and related structures.

Resting just minutes from Downtown Boulder and forty-five minutes from Denver International Airport, world-class ski resorts, and the business hubs of Denver and Fort Collins, Autumn Hill is an experience that can not be forgotten. Maybe it is the freedom to take a lone ride on the miles of trail, simply watch the children enjoying their dressage lessons, or finding a family escape, the passion of Autumn Hill will always stay as bright as the iconic yellow barn.

Classical riding is the art of riding in harmony

The art of dressage riding involves immense training of the body and mind. This consist of hours, month and years of ovals, circles and figure eights, with and without stirrups, working with injuries, tears and laughter, highs and lows. But, because you are working with the mind and body of another conscience being, dressage riding becomes much more than the sum of its parts. It is a hunger, a passion, an existence.

Autumn Hill International Equestrian Center has been instilling these principles in young girls for the past 18 years. It has been the intention to provide Boulder County with the highest quality horse care and training in this all-inclusive Dressage Facility. Under the county-approved grandfathered use and grandfathered events, this farm can hold up to forth-eight annual events, consisting if dressage shows, hunter/jumper shows, western shows and education clinics and forums.
